The project incorporates in the island the multiplicity of surrounding tissues: Two major public spaces, a green and a mineral, create a meeting between the fresh and wild environment of the Arve and the urban character of the road of Acacias. A linear building, articulates these two parts: in the north, modernist typologies take advantage of the openings created by the distance, to the south, urban typologies, a logic from the 19th century, participate in the urban intensity. The island is both an intense city inspired by a 19th century urbanism and a city.
