description:
The project proposes not only to design two buildings in a park, but also to manage close and far relationships at the scale of the city. The tall building defines the line which separates the mineral square from the park environment. The inside-outside and private-public relationships are here never confronting, as a system of filters always arranges the layering of privacy. Urban furniture forms different “islands” on the square: concrete benches, lamps, playgrounds and a bike parking around the ramp which leads to the underground. On the park side a mass of ars topiaria bushes organizes green intimate rooms and paths.
